چکیده

An aggregate signature is a single short string that convinces any verifier that, for all 1 ≤ i ≤ n, signer i signed message mi, where the n signers and n messages are distinct. The main motivation of aggregate signatures is compactness. In this paper, the concept of aggregate proxy signature (APS) is first proposed to compact the proxy signatures. Furthermore, a concrete APS scheme is constructed, which can be proved to be secure under the security model of APS. Additionally, as an application of APS, the concept of verifiably encrypted proxy signature (VEPS) is also first proposed in this paper, which can be used in contract signing. The VEPS allows the original signer to delegate another to sign the contract on its behalf. Finally, a VEPS construction is derived from the APS, which can be easily proved to be secure from the security of APS.

Sequential Aggregate Signatures and Multisignatures Without Random Oracles

We present the first aggregate signature, the first multisignature, and the first verifiably encrypted signature provably secure without random oracles. Our constructions derive from a novel application of a recent signature scheme due to Waters. Signatures in our aggregate signature scheme are sequentially constructed, but knowledge of the order in which messages were signed is not necessary f...

On the Generic Construction of Identity-Based Signatures with Additional Properties

It has been demonstrated by Bellare, Neven, and Namprempre (Eurocrypt 2004) that identity-based signature schemes can be generically constructed from standard digital signature schemes. In this paper we consider the following natural extension: is there a generic construction of “identity-based signature schemes with additional properties” (such as identity-based blind signatures, verifiably en...

Aggregate and Verifiably Encrypted Signatures from Bilinear Maps

An aggregate signature scheme is a digital signature that supports aggregation: Given n signatures on n distinct messages from n distinct users, it is possible to aggregate all these signatures into a single short signature. This single signature (and the n original messages) will convince the verifier that the n users did indeed sign the n original messages (i.e., user i signed message Mi for ...

Aggregate and Verifiably Encrypted Signatures from Multilinear Maps without Random Oracles

Aggregate signatures provide bandwidth-saving aggregation of ordinary signatures. We present the first unrestricted instantiation without random oracles, based on the Boneh-Silverberg signature scheme. Moreover, our construction yields a multisignature scheme where a single message is signed by a number of signers. Our second result is an application to verifiably encrypted signatures. There, s...

A Robust Verifiably Encrypted Signature Scheme

A verifiably encrypted signature can convince the verifier that a given cipher-text is the encryption of a signature on a given message. It is often used as a building block to construct optimistic fair exchange. Recently, Gu et.al gave an ID-based verifiably encrypted signature scheme and claimed that their scheme was secure in random oracle model. Unfortunately, in this works, we show that th...
